Readers are able to relate to people more and stories more easily when complex concepts are conveyed more understandably “You see young people come in looking for Spider-Man or Superman, inspired by what they’ve seen on Instagram or YouTube Shorts. They find joy in exploring the full story behind those clips,” Ivan explains.  But it is not just for simple amusement, many people see comic book characters as a reflection of their own personal struggles and personality. Whether it’s overcoming adversity or a slice-of-life story examining mental health.

Comics are a testament that stands the test of time during an era of e-books and digital media. “Sure, you can read comics online,” Ivan acknowledges. “But owning a physical issue is something different. Personally, it’s yours.”  

Many people still aren't used to e-books because they don't provide the same visceral pleasure that normal books have, owning a physical copy of a book allows you to fully appreciate the printing, ink, and artwork in the palm of your hands.
